​Summary: Fashion law encompasses several legal practice areas including, but not limited to, patent, trade dress, copyright, licensing, and international law.  Even employment and child labor law attorneys represent clients in legal matters related to the fashion industry.  As the fashion industry is worth trillions of dollars globally, fashion companies rely on attorneys to help protect their ideas, brands, and designs.  Learn about some of the legal issues involved in helping the fashion industry become fashionably legal.

Competency and Sanity in Texas, How to Recognize Issues with Clients, Counsel, and Court
Presenter:  Jim Huggler


Summary:Discussion of a basic understanding of mental health issues; to recognize mental health issues including recognizing competency or sanity issues in Texas courts; the procedural aspects of raising competency and sanity.  This will focus on Texas criminal law, but juvenile and federal criminal law will overlap.

The ABA Forum on Construction Law is pleased to announce the availability of six (6) Diversity Scholarships for the cost of registration for this program for women lawyers.
